Lisa Fowler, an Ottawa-based singer-songwriter, has just released her debut album "Roots". The 8 song guitar-centric project sees a blend of uplifting and heartwrenching melodies, soul-infused vocals, and authentic lyrics, creating a unique and captivating acoustic sound. "Roots" explores life's many facets and the ups and downs that entail, focusing on the journey through it all to stay grounded.

Her folksy vibe is complemented by added instrumentation courtesy of Ottawa's hip-hop producer Jeepz. Lisa Fowler has performed at various venues in the Nation's capital, as well as stops in western Canada and New Zealand.
